These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of LoomyLingo Live (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using it, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.
You may need to create an account through Clerk to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
LoomyLingo Live sells credits, not subscriptions. Each purchase buys a specific number of credits that you spend as you use the real-time translation service. One minute of real-time translation uses approximately 10 credits. Credits do not expire. All purchases are one-time payments processed by Stripe. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
You agree not to use the Service to:
LoomyLingo Live is powered by OpenAI's gpt-realtime-translate model. While we work to deliver high-quality, low-latency translation across 100+ languages, machine translation is inherently imperfect — particularly for low-resource languages, idioms, technical jargon, and proper nouns. The Service is provided "as is" and should not be relied upon for medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical communication.
By default, LoomyLingo Live does not record or store your voice or translated audio. If we ever add an opt-in recording feature in the future, it will require explicit consent and clear notice in the UI.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time. Unused credits remain accessible to you unless your account is terminated for cause.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for credits in the 12 months preceding the claim.
